I made this two I while back, I think they deserve space in the "pride wall"

my new toy,... does not work

I got my DVD PAJAMA QUILTER a while back, as you know life gets in the way of life, today a had a few hours to spare so I took it out and gues what it does not work, I send a e-mail to Dawn I hope I can exchange for a "good" one.

I finish the quilt for Noah and Danielle, pictures will be coming once the binding is ready, I took it to my LONGARM quilter and she had it ready in one Day!!

I'm glad Tax day is past us.


Just so you know, Dawn send out a new DVD and yes it works, have done very little practice just because I have beeing busy with wedding and weeding shower activities, soon I will post some of my "quilting" work progres.
P.S. Dawn also send out replacement rigth away! thank you Dawn.

I have beeing making this block for Noah and Danielle. I made 48 of them now I have to trimed them, hope to have to "top" by next week .

the butterfly faire's was send to my aid, when I was at the quilt shop, Carol saw the quilt and asked about the history behind it, I told her and she volunteered to machine quilted it for us, and with only 5 days to spare. She offerd her favorite pattern.

I have not even opened the pkg. I need to have some time to myself and sit to watch the DVD and then practice, practice,practice.

making a Memory Quilt

I had to put stabilizer on the "body" fleece is not the easiest to sew
it went a lot easier and fast once I did that.

I was ready to make a different block;... when my quilting magazine arrived and there it was;... the quilt that I had in mind but DIDN'T know it.

I cried the first time I cut into them, and I cried more a few more times while I was sewing. We miss her so much.

Kendall's parents ( Erick and Niky) entrusted me with 6 of her PJ's (Fleece) so I can make a MEMORY quilt. for them. It took me a while to decided on the pattern to use, that or I was really hesitant to cut in to the PJ's.

Last year we lost Kendall, a big tragedy, she was my Grandson cousin one year older than him.She was only 3 years old.

Long ago I made this quilt I was just learning how to quilt, I'm still learning! I hand quilted and now is my newest antique I finished in 1988
I seen this picture on a catalog and I though I should give it a try, is made of "Scraps" the back is muslin, the outer border was from my stash. 70 x 70
